Tyvek tote bag, made to order

Tote bag, made to your specification rather than pulled from a stock list. The body is cut and sewn in our own workshop in Cangnan, so the pattern carries your dimensions, your colour and your closure instead of a catalogue default. Reference SP-tyvek0001. Seams are double stitched, raw edges are enclosed, and hardware is set with a backing plate so it does not pull through under load.

Material and construction

Tyvek is a spun high-density polyethylene sheet: light, tear resistant, water resistant and printable at high coverage.

It takes four-colour print well, and it creases in a way that reads as paper rather than plastic.

Zips are stitched through a tape that is wider than the teeth, so the seam does not pucker and the pull runs without catching at the curve.

Printing and branding

Screen printing is the default for a short colour count: one plate per colour, a crisp edge on woven cloth, and a print that follows the surface rather than sitting on top of it. Where the artwork has shading we move to heat transfer or digital print; where it should feel raised, to embroidery.

Send the vector file and we will say which method holds up best on the fibre you chose, with a mockup on the bag shape and a physical reference for colour. Hardware is stocked in a small range of finishes, and a custom pull or plate can be tooled when the run justifies it.

Size, colour and small changes

The bag is cut to your measurements, so a size that is not on any list is not a problem. Send the packed object's dimensions and we will add the seam and closure allowance. A pre-production sample is made from the agreed specification before anything is cut for bulk.

A taller body, a wider base, a shorter handle or a different closure is a pattern change rather than a new product, so it is quoted as a variation. Anything that alters the pattern is quoted as a variation on this shape rather than as a new product.

Packing, checks and shipping

A pre-production sample is signed off before bulk starts, and that sample stays on the floor as the reference for every carton in the run. Sampling runs once artwork and specification are agreed, and the signed sample becomes the document the whole run is measured against.

Shipping documents are prepared from the same order sheet as the goods, so the invoice, the packing list and the carton marks agree. Delivery is quoted to your port or door, and the incoterm is stated on the order rather than assumed.
