Non-woven drawstring bag, made to order

Drawstring bag, made to your specification rather than pulled from a stock list. The body is cut and sewn in our own workshop in Cangnan, so the pattern carries your dimensions, your colour and your closure instead of a catalogue default. Reference DR-NW00004. Stress points are bar-tacked or cross-stitched where a handle meets the body, and every seam is finished inside so the bag does not shed fibre onto its contents.

Material and construction

Non-woven is spun-bond polypropylene: fibres laid down and bonded rather than woven. It is lighter and cheaper than woven cloth, it does not fray when cut, and the seams can be heat sealed instead of stitched.

Print sits on the surface rather than in a weave, so solid colour blocks and bold logos reproduce best. A laminated version adds a wipe-clean face and a gloss finish.

Stress points are bar-tacked or cross-stitched where a handle meets the body, and every seam is finished inside so the bag does not shed fibre onto its contents.

Printing and branding

Screen printing is the default for a short colour count: one plate per colour, a crisp edge on woven cloth, and a print that follows the surface rather than sitting on top of it. Screen print handles the solid block, heat transfer the fine line, embroidery the label; a woven side tag can go in at the same time.

We print to a Pantone reference rather than to what a monitor shows, and we send a digital mockup on the bag shape so the size can be judged before tooling. Artwork is best sent as vector; where only a photograph exists we redraw the mark and return it for approval.

Size, colour and small changes

Sizes are made to your dimensions rather than picked from a list. If you have the object the bag has to hold, send its measurements and we will work out the allowance; if you have a drawing already, we cut to it. A pre-production sample is made from the agreed specification before anything is cut for bulk.

Fabric colour, print colour, thread colour and hardware finish are specified separately, which is what makes a repeat order repeatable. A change to the pattern is drawn up and sent back as a dimensioned sketch before the sample is cut.

Packing, checks and shipping

Checks run at three points: on the cut panels, on the assembled bag, and on the packed carton. The reference is the sample you approved, so anything that drifts is caught before it is boxed. Documents are prepared from the same order sheet as the goods, so the invoice, the packing list and the carton marks agree.

Cartons are counted and marked before they leave the floor, and the packing list is sent ahead of dispatch so your warehouse knows what is arriving. Delivery is quoted to your port or door, and the incoterm is stated on the order rather than assumed.
