Drawstring pouch, made to your specification rather than pulled from a stock list. The body is cut and sewn in our own workshop in Cangnan, so the pattern carries your dimensions, your colour and your closure instead of a catalogue default. Reference DR-MS0002. Binding runs the full length of every inside seam, and the base is a separate panel rather than a folded continuation of the front, which is what keeps a full bag square.

Material and construction

Cotton is a woven cellulosic fibre: it breathes, it takes print on the surface rather than in a film, and it softens with every wash. We stock it as light muslin for pouches and as 8oz to 12oz canvas for totes, unbleached or dyed to a Pantone reference.

Printed cotton is usually screen printed, which keeps the ink inside the weave and leaves the hand of the cloth intact. Organic fibre and undyed natural shades are available on request.

Panels are cut on the grain and matched before sewing, so the weave runs the same way across the front, the gusset and the base instead of twisting at the corner.

Printing and branding

Screen printing is the default for a short colour count: one plate per colour, a crisp edge on woven cloth, and a print that follows the surface rather than sitting on top of it. Screen print handles the solid block, heat transfer the fine line, embroidery the label; a woven side tag can go in at the same time.

Send the vector file and we will say which method holds up best on the fibre you chose, with a mockup on the bag shape and a physical reference for colour. Any change after approval is re-sampled rather than absorbed into the run, so what is signed off is what is delivered.

Size, colour and small changes

Sizes are made to your dimensions rather than picked from a list. If you have the object the bag has to hold, send its measurements and we will work out the allowance; if you have a drawing already, we cut to it. Small quantities are made on the same line as large ones, so a trial order is not a different product.

Colour can be matched to a Pantone chip, to a fabric swatch or to a previous order, and small changes such as a longer handle, an inner pocket, a zip pull or a lining are part of the same conversation. Each change is priced before it is made, not after, so the quotation you approve is the one that is invoiced.

Packing, checks and shipping

Checks run at three points: on the cut panels, on the assembled bag, and on the packed carton. The reference is the sample you approved, so anything that drifts is caught before it is boxed. Documents are prepared from the same order sheet as the goods, so the invoice, the packing list and the carton marks agree.

Bags are counted into export cartons with an inner poly bag for sea freight, and the carton marks are agreed before packing. Where a launch date is fixed, we work back from it to the booking date and confirm both in writing.
