Cotton-linen drawstring bag, made to order

This pouch is cut and stitched in our own workshop in Cangnan, so the pattern follows your dimensions, your colour and your cord rather than a catalogue default. Reference DR-CT0041.

The drawcord runs through a folded channel, not a raw slit, so the fabric does not fray at the opening however often the bag is pulled shut. Cord ends are knotted and sealed, which keeps them from unravelling in transit.

Material and construction

Cotton gives the pouch a soft matte hand that takes print cleanly; the linen in the blend adds a visible slub and a little body, so the bag stands open while you pack it instead of collapsing. Undyed, the colour reads as a natural off-white that suits kraft paper, twine and unbleached packaging.

Seams are folded and double stitched, and the base carries a reinforced stitch line, so a full pouch holds its shape rather than sagging into a sack.

Printing on cotton and linen

Screen printing gives the crispest edge on this weave and is the usual choice for a single-colour logo. Heat transfer suits small multi-colour artwork, and embroidery works on the heavier end of the blend for a raised mark. We do not recommend dye sublimation here: it needs a polyester surface to bond.

Q1: What is the pouch made of, and how does it wear?

A1: A cotton-linen blend, cut and stitched so the pouch keeps its shape when loaded. It softens with use rather than wearing through, and the linen slub becomes more visible over time.

Q2: Can we change the size, colour or cord?

A2: Yes. Dimensions, fabric colour and cord colour are all made to your drawing, and we can switch to a ribbon, a waxed cord or a cord lock. Changes that alter the pattern go through a new sample.

Q3: What is the minimum order, and how long does a sample take?

A3: 100 pcs per colour and print. A pre-production sample runs 3-7 working days after artwork approval, and production follows once you confirm it in writing.

Q4: How do we approve the artwork before production?

A4: A digital proof shows the logo at true scale on the bag, and a photograph of the first article off the line follows. Production only starts once you confirm both.
