A pouch that stands up

Most drawstring bags collapse once the cord is pulled. This one has a circular base, boxed and stitched like the bottom of a tote, so it holds its shape and stands on a shelf next to the product it protects. For a candle jar or a soap bar that is sold standing, that difference is the whole point. Reference DR-CT0048.

The body is cut tall rather than wide, which keeps the jar centred and leaves the print area clear of the drawstring channel.

Grosgrain ribbon instead of satin

Grosgrain has a fine rib running across its width, so it reads matte and slightly textured next to natural cotton. Satin is glossier and dressier; grosgrain is quieter and holds a knot without slipping. Black grosgrain against undyed cotton is the pairing most candle brands land on.

The ribbon is 25 mm wide as standard and runs through a folded channel at the top, with knotted ends so it cannot pull back through.

Common briefs

Candle jars of 200 g to 500 g, wax melt sets, soap bars, bath salts, and small wedding or hotel amenity kits. Sizes are cut to your drawing, so the base diameter is set from the jar.

Print is usually one colour on the front panel, 8 to 12 cm wide. Direct screen print keeps it simple; where the artwork has a fine line or small type, a woven label carries it better.

Q1: What ribbon is used?

A1: 25 mm polyester grosgrain as standard, in black or any dyed colour. Cotton tape and satin ribbon are available if you prefer a different hand feel.

Q2: Can the base be flat instead of round?

A2: Yes. The same pouch is made with a flat folded base, which packs flatter but does not stand on its own. Round base is quoted at the same price.

Q3: Will it fit a 500 g candle jar?

A3: Yes, with the base and height cut to the jar. Send the jar diameter and height and the pattern is drawn to fit with 1-2 cm clearance.

Q4: What is the minimum order?

A4: 100 pcs per colour and print. Samples take 3-7 working days.
