Plain cotton, printed with your artwork

A straight cotton drawstring bag: no lining, no blend, one cord through one channel. That is what most gift and retail programmes actually order, because it packs flat, stacks in a carton and costs less than a lined pouch. Reference DR-CT0043.

The cord is cotton rather than polyester ribbon, so it knots and stays knotted, and it takes dye with the bag if you want the two to match. Ends are knotted and sealed against fraying.

Construction that survives repeat use

The cord runs through a folded channel rather than a raw slit, so the opening does not fray however often the bag is pulled shut. Seams are double stitched and the base carries a reinforced line, so a full bag holds its shape instead of sagging into a sack.

Undyed and unbleached, the fabric reads as a warm natural off-white that sits well next to kraft paper, twine and unbleached board. It takes black print with a clean edge, and one or two colours cover most briefs.

Sizes and order volume

Common sizes are 15x20 cm, 20x25 cm, 25x30 cm and 30x40 cm, but the pattern is cut to your drawing, so a size that fits a specific product is normal work rather than a special order.

This range starts at 100 pcs, lower than the rest of the catalogue, which makes it usable for a launch, a wedding run or a short promotional programme.

Q1: Is the cotton organic?

A1: Standard cotton as listed. Organic, GOTS and RPET versions are quoted on request with the certificate supplied.

Q2: Can the cord be a different colour?

A2: Yes. White, natural, black and the usual Pantone matches are available; the cord can also be dyed to match the bag.

Q3: How many colours can be printed?

A3: One or two colours in screen print are standard. Full colour is done by heat transfer or digital print and quoted separately.

Q4: What is the minimum order and sample time?

A4: 100 pcs per colour and print. A pre-production sample takes 3-7 working days.
