Polyester folding bag, made to order

Folding bag, made to your specification rather than pulled from a stock list. The body is cut and sewn in our own workshop in Cangnan, so the pattern carries your dimensions, your colour and your closure instead of a catalogue default. Reference FD-PL00006. Edges are folded and stitched rather than cut raw, and the base is reinforced where the load sits, which is the difference between a bag that lasts a season and one that lasts a year.

Material and construction

Polyester is a tight, light synthetic weave. It holds colour well, dries quickly and takes a water-repellent finish without changing the look of the cloth.

Sublimation print suits polyester best because the dye bonds into the fibre, so full-colour artwork stays soft to the touch.

Stress points are bar-tacked or cross-stitched where a handle meets the body, and every seam is finished inside so the bag does not shed fibre onto its contents.

Printing and branding

Most of these bags leave the floor with a one or two colour screen print, because it reads at arm's length and costs least to set up. Where the artwork has shading we move to heat transfer or digital print; where it should feel raised, to embroidery.

We print to a Pantone reference rather than to what a monitor shows, and we send a digital mockup on the bag shape so the size can be judged before tooling. Cartons can be plain or printed with your own marks, and inner packing can be a poly bag, a tissue wrap or nothing at all.

Size, colour and small changes

The bag is cut to your measurements, so a size that is not on any list is not a problem. Send the packed object's dimensions and we will add the seam and closure allowance. Small quantities are made on the same line as large ones, so a trial order is not a different product.

Fabric colour, print colour, thread colour and hardware finish are specified separately, which is what makes a repeat order repeatable. Hardware, lining and thread are chosen against a physical swatch rather than a screen, which removes most of the surprises.

Packing, checks and shipping

A pre-production sample is signed off before bulk starts, and that sample stays on the floor as the reference for every carton in the run. Any change after approval is re-sampled rather than absorbed into the run, so what is signed off is what is delivered.

Goods ship from Ningbo, Shanghai or Shenzhen, by sea, air or rail depending on the date you need them, and we quote the options rather than assume one. Where a launch date is fixed, we work back from it to the booking date and confirm both in writing.
