Polyester folding bag, made to order

Folding bag, made to your specification rather than pulled from a stock list. The body is cut and sewn in our own workshop in Cangnan, so the pattern carries your dimensions, your colour and your closure instead of a catalogue default. Reference LC-FD0003. Panels are cut on the grain and matched before sewing, so the weave runs the same way across the front, the gusset and the base instead of twisting at the corner.

Material and construction

Polyester is a tight, light synthetic weave. It holds colour well, dries quickly and takes a water-repellent finish without changing the look of the cloth.

Sublimation print suits polyester best because the dye bonds into the fibre, so full-colour artwork stays soft to the touch.

Seams are double stitched, raw edges are enclosed, and hardware is set with a backing plate so it does not pull through under load.

Printing and branding

Branding here is a decision about surface as much as artwork: a solid block, a fine line or a stitched label each reads differently on the same bag. Screen print handles the solid block, heat transfer the fine line, embroidery the label; a woven side tag can go in at the same time.

Send the vector file and we will say which method holds up best on the fibre you chose, with a mockup on the bag shape and a physical reference for colour. Artwork is best sent as vector; where only a photograph exists we redraw the mark and return it for approval.

Size, colour and small changes

Sizes are made to your dimensions rather than picked from a list. If you have the object the bag has to hold, send its measurements and we will work out the allowance; if you have a drawing already, we cut to it. A pre-production sample is made from the agreed specification before anything is cut for bulk.

Handle type and drop, lining, inner pockets and labelling are all open to change, and each is priced before it is made rather than after. A change to the pattern is drawn up and sent back as a dimensioned sketch before the sample is cut.

Packing, checks and shipping

Every order is inspected in line and again before packing, against the approved sample: print position, colour, stitch density, hardware function and measurement. Sampling runs once artwork and specification are agreed, and the signed sample becomes the document the whole run is measured against.

Shipping documents are prepared from the same order sheet as the goods, so the invoice, the packing list and the carton marks agree. Consolidated shipments can combine this line with other bags on the same order, which keeps the freight per carton down.

A4: Polyester is durable and holds print well, so the bag survives repeat use. Where recycled content matters we can run the same bag in RPET instead.
