Cosmetic bag, made to order

This cosmetic bag is a starting point, not a fixed product: the pattern is ours, so it is cut to your drawing. The body is made in our own workshop in Cangnan, so the pattern carries your dimensions, your colour and your closure instead of a catalogue default. It can be served as cosmetic bag. Edges are folded and stitched rather than cut raw, and the base is reinforced where the load sits, which is the difference between a bag that lasts a season and one that lasts a year.

Material and construction

EVA is a moulded foam: the case is heat-formed into a shell rather than sewn from flat panels, so the shape is the structure.

The shell keeps its form under load and the zip runs around a rigid edge, which is why it protects sunglasses and small electronics.

We keep the construction as simple as the job allows: fewer components means fewer places for a seam to fail, and it makes the bag easier to sort at end of life. EVA cases are hard-wearing and reused for years, so the material is not consumed quickly. Ask us about recycled EVA content for your market.

Printing and branding

The print method follows the fibre, not the other way round. On EVA we would normally run UV printing, because that is what holds on this surface; some marks that sit well on canvas will not survive a coated film, and some films take colour that cloth cannot.

Send the vector file and we will say which method holds up best on the fibre you chose, with a mockup on the bag shape and a physical reference for colour. Cartons can be plain or printed with your own marks, and inner packing can be a poly bag, a tissue wrap or nothing at all.

Size, colour and small changes

Dimensions, colour and construction are the three variables we work with, and none of them has to match a catalogue. Where the bag is a repeat, we keep the pattern and the screen on file so the second run matches the first.

Handle type and drop, lining, inner pockets and labelling are all open to change, and each is priced before it is made rather than after. Anything that alters the pattern is quoted as a variation on this shape rather than as a new product.

Packing, checks and shipping

Checks run at three points: on the cut panels, on the assembled bag, and on the packed carton. The reference is the sample you approved, so anything that drifts is caught before it is boxed. Artwork is best sent as vector; where only a photograph exists we redraw the mark and return it for approval.

Cartons are counted and marked before they leave the floor, and the packing list is sent ahead of dispatch so your warehouse knows what is arriving. Where a launch date is fixed, we work back from it to the booking date and confirm both in writing. Goods ship from Ningbo, Shanghai or Shenzhen by sea, air or rail, and we quote the routes that fit your date rather than assuming one.
