Tyvek cooler bag, made to order
Cooler bag, made to your specification rather than pulled from a stock list. The body is cut and sewn in our own workshop in Cangnan, so the pattern carries your dimensions, your colour and your closure instead of a catalogue default. Reference LC-Tyvek0006. Stress points are bar-tacked or cross-stitched where a handle meets the body, and every seam is finished inside so the bag does not shed fibre onto its contents.
Material and construction
Tyvek is a spun high-density polyethylene sheet: light, tear resistant, water resistant and printable at high coverage.
It takes four-colour print well, and it creases in a way that reads as paper rather than plastic.
Panels are cut on the grain and matched before sewing, so the weave runs the same way across the front, the gusset and the base instead of twisting at the corner.
Printing and branding
Most of these bags leave the floor with a one or two colour screen print, because it reads at arm's length and costs least to set up. Screen print handles the solid block, heat transfer the fine line, embroidery the label; a woven side tag can go in at the same time.
Placement is usually centred on the front face. The print position, the size in millimetres and the colour reference are confirmed in writing before production, and a mockup of the artwork on the actual shape is sent for approval. Tolerances are plus or minus three millimetres on a sewn bag, which is what a handmade line has always held and what your own inspection should expect.
Size, colour and small changes
Dimensions, colour and construction are the three variables we work with, and none of them has to match a catalogue. Carton dimensions are agreed with the order, because the packed size decides the freight cost.
A taller body, a wider base, a shorter handle or a different closure is a pattern change rather than a new product, so it is quoted as a variation. Each change is priced before it is made, not after, so the quotation you approve is the one that is invoiced.
Packing, checks and shipping
Inspection is done against the signed sample, with the print position measured and the colour checked under a light box. Artwork is best sent as vector; where only a photograph exists we redraw the mark and return it for approval.
Shipping documents are prepared from the same order sheet as the goods, so the invoice, the packing list and the carton marks agree. Consolidated shipments can combine this line with other bags on the same order, which keeps the freight per carton down.
Frequently asked questions
Q1: Can our logo be printed on this cooler bag?
A1: Yes. Flexo or screen printing is the usual route for Tyvek, and artwork can be sent as a vector file or redrawn from a photograph. A digital proof showing the mark at true scale comes back to you before anything is cut.
Q2: What is this cooler bag made of, and how does it wear?
A2: The body is Tyvek, cut and stitched so the cooler bag keeps its shape when it is loaded. Stress points such as handle joins and the base are reinforced rather than left on a single seam.
Q3: Can we change the size, colour or add a pocket?
A3: Yes. We can adjust dimensions, match a brand colour and add details like a pocket, a zip pull or a different handle. Changes that alter the pattern go through a new sample.
Q4: How do we approve the artwork before production?
A4: A digital proof shows the logo at true scale on the bag, and a photograph of the first article off the line follows. Production only starts once you confirm both in writing.
Send the photo anyway.
